Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
This policy explains when payments may be refundable, how cancellations and rescheduling work, and how to request help with a billing issue. Your signed agreement or invoice may include more specific terms for your booking.
Summary
| Payment or service | Refund treatment |
|---|---|
| Booking payment | Usually non-refundable because it reserves a date and is applied to your total. |
| Amounts paid beyond the initial booking payment before coverage | May be refundable according to your agreement, less completed work and incurred costs. |
| Completed photography coverage | Non-refundable once the service has been performed. |
| Custom albums, prints, and physical products | Usually non-refundable once production has started, except for verified defects or legal requirements. |
| Duplicate or mistaken charges | Reviewed promptly and refunded if confirmed. |
Booking payments
A booking payment reserves a date and time on our calendar. Because we may decline other inquiries for the same date, booking payments are non-refundable unless your signed agreement states otherwise or applicable law requires a refund. If we agree in writing to transfer a booking to a new date, the booking payment may be applied to that new date.
Client cancellation before coverage
If you cancel before the session or wedding day, contact us as soon as possible. Amounts paid beyond the booking payment may be refundable according to your signed agreement, less completed planning, editing, design, administrative work, travel or vendor costs, and other costs already incurred for your booking.
Cancellation after coverage begins
Once photography coverage has started or been completed, fees for completed coverage are non-refundable. This includes situations where the event ends early, runs late, changes location, has restricted access, or does not include all planned moments due to circumstances outside our control.
Rescheduling
We will try to accommodate rescheduling requests when possible. Rescheduling is not confirmed until both parties agree in writing. Additional charges may apply if the new date, travel, timeline, package, or vendor costs differ from the original booking.
Albums, prints, and custom products
Custom albums, prints, and other physical products are produced specifically for the client. Once production has started, these items are generally not refundable or cancelable unless they arrive defective, damaged, or materially different from the approved order. Report physical product issues within 7 days of delivery so we can review the issue with the vendor or carrier.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are usually initiated within 10 business days after approval. Your payment provider may take additional time to post the refund. Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method when practical.
Billing questions and disputes
Please contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can review the issue, provide documentation, correct mistakes, or process an eligible refund. You can reach us athello@weddingphotographyfortworth.com or +1 (854) 226-1376.
